Recently, God Mode, a secret feature of Windows 7 was discovered. As the name suggests, You will have all powers to customize and change functions/behavior or execute any of the administrative tools of your system from one place. GodMode gives you almost all capabilities and make feel like God with all tweaks inside a folder, this is among the not so known features of Windows 7. 

What is God Mode? 

God Mode is basically a feature from you can access all major any minor controlling features which are by default in Administrative Control Panel at one place.


How to enter God Mode in Windows 7 RTM?


Create any Folder and rename it as God-Mode.{ED7BA470-8E54-465E-825C-99712043E01C} and soon you will notice that the icon of that folder is changed and looks like Control Panel of your Windows 7.

Double click that icon to enter God  Mode in Windows 7.


How to use God Mode in Windows 7 ?


After entering God Mode, You will see Full controls shortcut inside this window from where you can change and edit any of the feature from customizing Auto Play to formatting Hard Drive partition.

Select any of the option from categorically classified controls then whether it is Display Controls, Mouse
Configuration or Security Action Center. Everything is here at one place.

 For people who love to play and experiment new things, this is really a useful trick to configure and customization of Windows 7 in one go without any need of 3rd party application to accomplish this task.

Hidden Themes in Windows 7

On a Windows 7 install with United States regional settings only the United States theme is shown but there are actually four more themes which are hidden from user.Accessing all these themes is easy but first you have to find them.

The trick is to navigate to the C:\Windows\Globalization\MCT directory. The MCT directory within the Globalization directory is super hidden so it will not display even if show hidden files and folders is enabled. Just click on the address bar of any folder and manually type in or copy and paste in C:\Windows\Globalization\MCT and hit Enter.

There’s open the directory:
Once you have reached the MCT folder you will see five directories as listed below:

  1) MCT-AU
  2) MCT-CA
  3) MCT-GB
  4) MCT-US
  5) MCT-ZA

To use all these theme for each region just navigate into each MCT-Region directory and enter the Theme sub-directory and double click the theme file.And the theme will get loaded on your system.
 

How To Hide Your Local Hard Disk Drives ?

Here is a simple method to hide your hard disk drives

• Open Control Panel

• Go to Administrative Tools

• Click Computer Management

• Now a window will appear

• Click Disk Management on the left column

• Now you will see all disk drives

• Suppose you want to hide local disk E:

• Then right click on local disk E: and

• Choose "change drive letter and paths"

• Now a small window will appear showing your letter "E"

• Click remove and then OK

Open my computer you will not see local disk E:

To bring back repeat the above steps but
when you open disk management the drive that is hidden will be without any letter

• Right click on it and

• Choose "change drive letter and paths"

• Press add and then OK

That's it!!

How to Increase Torrent Downloading and Uploading Speed ?

Ok guys,

Well this has been a kind of major issues in many of the guys nowadays, so people are downloading more and more from torrents, so wondering how they could increase the torrent's downloading and uploading speed.

Well, i was also looking for some time about this tweak, anyways lets not waste anymore time and get back to our business.

So here, configure your Torrent Client according to these settings shown in images.

Also if you need to download the Torrent Client you can download UTorrent

For connection setting checked enable upnp port mapping, enable NAT-PMP port mapping and i use 45682 for random port.

Checked use additional upload slots if upload speed <90% and follow the value setting like screenshot.

Checked for enable dht network, enable dht for new torrent, enable local peer discovery, ask tracker for scrape information, enable peer change, allow incoming legacy connections and enable outgoing protocol encryption.

Setup net.max_halfopen to 90

That is it, You have just tweaked the speed of Utorrent!. Remember, If the torrent has no seeds, This will not work!

 Also, i myself has tested this method working fine, But if you just follow these steps you're uploading speed will boost up.

But in order to increase the Downloading Speed, you need to Limit Your uploading speed.

Here it is how..

In the Bandwidth Settings, in Global Uploading Rate Limiting, put 1

and Click Apply then OK.

That's it, your downloading speed will get increased.

Also, you can Disable your firewall, to get some more speed, but choose this step carefully, as disabling firewall, is not recommended.

Windows-XP Password Cracking

Here we use the tool "Cain and Abel" for cracking passwords of any local user/administrator.

Make sure that you have disabled the antivirus/firewall running on your system before installing and throughout this process.

Two most effective techniques used here are "Brute-Force" and "Cryptanalysis".


Brute-Force:- As this techniques takes more time to complete, the attacker prefer this technique only when there is a hope that the password contain same type of characters or may be two. i.e only loweralpha, only alpha, only numeric or may be loweralpha-numeric, also it should contain less than 7 characters. Otherwise it takes more time to crack password, which may be the mixture of all types of characters along with special symbols.
The step-by-step explaination for this technique is given below-

1) Open the tool "Cain and Abel"

 

2) Go into the category "Cracker" it displays all sub-categories under "Cracker" in left panel.

 
3) Select "LM & NTLM Hashes" from left panel and then click on + symbol, you will be greeted by a window as shown.

 

4) Check "import hashes from local system" and then click "Next". This shows all the active accounts on local system like administrator, guest, etc. along with LM and NT hashed values of their respective passwords, as shown below.

6) Here we select "Brute-Force Attack" and then "NTLM Hashes", since windows uses NTLM hashes to store local users' passwords.

7) You will be greeted by a window where you can modify properties for brute-force attack such as password length, character set, etc.

 

 

8) Click on "Start" button.
9) On completion it will reveal the exact password.

Cryptanalisys:- Basically, Cryptanalisys means Operations performed in converting encrypted messages to plain text without initial knowledge of the crypto-algorithm and/or key employed in the encryption.
This is the fastest technique of password cracking possible due to "Rainbow Tables".
A rainbow table is a file that is used to lookup an unknown plaintext from a known hash for an algorithm that does not usually permit this operation.
Steps 1 to 4 i.e upto importing hashes from local system, are similar to previous technique (i.e brute-force). The steps coming after that are as follows-

5) Here, select "cryptanalisys attack" then "NTLM hashes" and then select "via rainbow tables". Here we can choose either OphCrack or RainbowCrack formats of tables. The rainbow tables are available free to download on internet.

  

  6) Click on "Add Table"

7) Browse for the location of rainbow table on your system, select proper table and click "open".

 

8) Select the loaded table and then click on "Start" button.

9) On completetion it will show the exact password.

To learn windows password cracking techniques properly, one must understand "LM" & "NTLM" algorithms, SAM File, Dumping NTLM hashes from local SAM, Rainbow Tables, etc.......!

Step1) First take the set up file of the software that you want to make portable. Here I am taking Mozilla Firefox set up file.

Step2) Now install both Winrar and Universal Extractor.

Step3) Now put the set up file in a folder say AH. Now right click on the set up file and select UniExtract to Subdir.

Step4) This will extract all the dll files and some folders along with the executable (exe) file. In my case the name of the exe file is setup.exe but it depends upon the software so in your case it will be different. Just copy the whole name along with the extension i.e setup.exe

Step5) Now press Ctrl+A and select all the extracted files and folders and right click on it and select Add to archive.

Step6) Now when you will click on Add to archive a new window will open, its Winrar application. In the right side in General tab put a tick on Create SFX Archive

Step7) Now go to Advance tab at the top and click on SFX Options.

In the Set Up Program in Run After Extraction enter the name of the file along with the extension that your copied in Step4 i.e setup.exe

 


Step9) When you will click OK second time, Winrar will create a file and this is your portable application.

The portable software will look something like this :

How To Create A Partition In Windows 7

Here is a pretty simple tutorial for you guys..

Similarly to Windows Vista, Windows 7 has a built in utility to partition a hard drive. Many people like to partition their hard drive for multiple reasons. To boot from a different OS ( This isn’t necessary any more if you have Windows 7 Ultimate, which supports booting from a VHD, or to help you manage where you store files and programs etc…. particularly if you have a large hard drive.

Now to create partition:

{IMPORTANT} Make Sure adapter is pluged in if you are using laptop or if using PC then try to perform this when usually you dont have power failure.. power intruption could cause bad sectors or many other troubles..

follow the following steps..

1.Go to Start -> Right Click My Computer -> Manage

2.You will then be brought to the Computer Management Program

3.Click on the Storage bar and under it click on Disk Management

4.Then select the Drive you want to partition

5.Now right click on the drive and select Shrink Volume

6.You will then be presented with a Window showing you the Size of the Hard drive and the total amount available to Shrink. Since my hard drive is quite full I have a smaller amount available to Shrink.Enter in the amount you would like to shrink ( This will be the size of the new partition ) It can’t be more than the amount available to you and remember that Approx 1000 Mb = 1 GB

7.After you have entered your values, click shrink and let it do it’s thing. Depending on the size of the drive and amount to shrink this could take a while. Just be patient and once it’s done you will see an unallocated space which is the size you just shrunk the volume by. Select it and right click and then select New Simple Volume

8.Follow the Wizard that appears and fill in the Size of the Partition, Generally the size you just shrunk the drive by.

9.Assign a drive letter, Pick one of your choice it doesn’t make a difference

10.Then on the Format page, Ensure NTFS is selected and then Enter a name for your Drive – ie. “Music” and click next followed by finish

There you have it, A new partition on your hard drive to do what you like with it.

How to Hack Softwares to Use them Forever ?

That really a useful article,because in our daily life we need thousand of softwares today,which of most are highly paid..So how to use them Freely for whole Like ??


Most of us are familiar with many softwares that run only for a specified period of time in the trial mode.Once the trial period is expired these softwares stop functioning and demand for a purchase.But there is a way to run the softwares and make them function beyond the trial period. Isn’t this interesting?


Before I tell you how to hack the software and make it run in the trial mode forever, we have to understand the functioning of these softwares. When these softwares are installed for the first time, they make an entry into the Windows Registry with the details such as Installed Date and Time, installed path etc.After installation every time you run the software, it compares the current system date and time with the installed date and time.So, with this it can make out whether the trial period is expired or not.

So with this being the case, just manually changing the system date to an earlier date will not solve the problem.For this purpose there is a small Tool known as RunAsDate.

RunAsDate is a small utility that allows you to run a program in the date and time that you specify. This utility doesn’t change the current system date, but it only injects the date/time that you specify into the desired application.  

Download RunAsDate v1.10 


Intercepts the kernel API calls that returns the current date and time (GetSystemTime, GetLocalTime, GetSystemTimeAsFileTime), and replaces the current date/time with the date/time that you specify.It works with Windows 2000, XP, 2003 and Vista.


NOTE: FOLLOW THESE TIPS CAREFULLY


You have to follow these tips carefully to successfully hack a software and make it run in it’s trial mode forever.
1. Note down the date and time, when you install the software for the first time.
2. Once the trial period expires, you must always run the software using RunAsDate .
3. After the trial period is expired, do not run the software(program) directly.If you run the software directly even once, this hack may no longer work.
4. It is better and safe to inject the date of the last day in the trial period.

For example, if the trial period expires on oct 1 2009, always inject the date as sep 30 2009 in the RunAsDate.

Warning : AVG Antivirus reports that RunAsDate is infected with "Trojan horse Generic 10.Thk". This will not harm ur pc,warning is just bcoz this is a wondow registry hack tool !
